PROS AND CONS: EXPERIENCE OF INNOVATION IN TRAINING SPECIALISTS IN THE FIRST TRANSPORT UNIVERSITY OF THE COUNTRY
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The article considers examples of individual innovations in the training of transport engineers at the country’s oldest transport university. Some innovations did not take root, turned out to be practically impractical. The necessary funding was not found for the implementation of some innovations. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the process of reforming and modernizing the training of engineers in an institution that is generally useful for Russia, the Institute of Transport Engineering, was almost permanent. The academics of Institute – University sought to develop and improve the effectiveness of the basic training matrix created under the leadership of A.A. Betancourt. At the present stage, referring to historical experience will allow avoiding mistakes and choosing the best tools to solve today’s problems.
